Solus won't boot after update

DataDrake How can I check that? The check broken package command shows everything as "OK". And everything works before update, even on a clean install. The update is causing this. I tried reinstalling the whole system, I can reboot and use it. But as soon as I update, nothing works anymore.

Syn No. They already patched that in the kernel. We have a new enough version to not need it.

DataDrake I just tried adding nomodeset to the kernel boot parameters. The system then boots, even though its much slower. It also doesn't detect its speakers at first ("dummy output" is shown on the sound menu) and I can't use my fn keys to change volume or brightness or anything.
But it does indeed boot with nomodeset, so might it be a problem with the graphic card?
