problems with iso file on download page of website.

greetings. I am trying to download the latest iso file of Solus Budgie edition from getsol.us. i have tried both the torrent link and the download now link. both files download okay but when i go to burn the files to a blank DVD in Brasero it says unknown media type ( raw cd image) . i then tried to burn the iso using K3
B . it burned ok. i then restarted my computer with the new burnt disc in my DVD drive. I selected it as my boot device . it booted okay and started to load . all of a sudden i get a error message saying failed to load manager systemd frozen .

here is my specifications

IBM Thinkpad e585 laptop
AMD Ryzen 2200 dual core CPU with 4 threads
4 gid DDR2-2400 RAM
500 GB HDD
8x DVD-RW drive
Solus Budgie 4.5 fully updated

I want to burn a new copy to a blank disk as a backup in case I have to reinstall my OS. I have a copy of Solus 4.4 budgie on a 8 gb usb stick so not urgent . Can anyone help ? Has anyone else had problems?

update
i found a 8 gb usb flash drive in my dresser drawer. I downloaded a fresh copy of the Solus Budgie 4.5 iso from the website . Using etcher , I flashed the iso onto the flash drive. Etcher gave me a error message about chechsum does not match. any ideas. thanks in advance'

i forgot to mention that only the budgie iso is causing this issue. i tested gnome, kde , and the new xfce beta iso and all three work on both the usb stick and blank DVD disks so it can not be my hardware .

I tried to reproduce in a VM and looks like I can boot the ISO normally. Did you verify the ISO?

As a reference point I downloaded Budgie about 45 mins after Solus 4.5 went live. It installed fine using the F2FS option. All went very smoothly. I had a small problem trying to install Solus Plasma 4.5 onto my old core 2 duo but that was due to a faulty USB socket.
Many congratulations to the team. Very good work indeed.

stalebrim yes i did check the checksum. they matched. i will try the budgie ISO once again and post the results. i may have gotten a hold of some bad DVD discs as I buy them in bulk . ( 100 + ) at a time,

good news . i got a new 32 gig usb flash drive and using etcher i was able to flash the Budgie ISO onto it and it booted fine. I guess I got a hold of some bad discs . Thanks stalebrim and the other responders . You can mark this topic closed. Thanks again for all of the help.
